Knit Sailboat Pants

I bought the top BK is wearing at a consignment store Monday and just had to make a pair of pink pants to go with it.

I used a heavy cotton interlock from Chez Ami that has hardly any stretch.  And grey buttons to break up the overwhelming pink.

I referenced this handy dandy tutorial while adding length to the cropped pants.   8 inches later (!), BK has a new pair of comfy yet stylish pants.

  4. Thank you, Justine! The pants held up to a hard day of playing outside yesterday.

  5. Love that you used interlock! I've had this pattern forever and only used it once. Yours are adorable! I'm featuring this today!

  6. Very cute! I have this pattern but have been waiting for warmer weather, I might borrow your great idea and just lengthen them.

  7. These are darling. Great idea to use the interlock. I have some of that and made a t-shirt with it, but it's hardly stretchy enough to get on my 2yo.
